Thanksgiving weekend report
Nov. 29th, 2003 04:34 pmThis Thanksgiving weekend has been really satisfying. Thanksgiving itself was nice, we had some relatives come over and a couple of family friends - it was small, and good food and yeah; twas fun. Friday I happily didn't have to get up early, despite plans to shop with Mom. So THAT was good. Sleeping in is a gooooooood thing. *Grins* Yeah, shopping went pretty well too. I'm nearly done with everyone!
YAHOO!
Got to try out the family's new jacuzzi too. Nice and warm and watery. *gg* I love water and for once my body didn't decide to screw me about swimming/floating/etc. Great little toy in the backyard now. What's even better is that Mom said I can bring people home for weekends or during Christmas break - which means going in to the hot tub then too. Yay for that, ne? ^.~
Today we went to get our tree, since Mom wanted me to be home for that and we'll be decorating it later tonight. We broke the tradition of going on a rainy evening to Home Depot this year and went to cut our own tree. Which was meh. Wasn't particularly more fun, nor boring - just meh. We got a nice tree though. And I always have fun decorating.
Also got to watch more of first season Alias. That is a pretty good show. I swear though, watching that on TV would kill me - too many damn cliffhangers. ^_^;; *shrugs* That is what DVD sets are for - Mom will be getting more of it so, why bother with it on TV? *grins*
One bad thing? ( If you are curious... )
Btw, hope all those who had it this weekend had a good Thanksgiving. I'm thankful for you all, truly. *HUGS FRIENDS*
Baibi ^.~
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I saw Love Actually yesterday too. CUTE movie. *nods*
