AAAAAAH School started!

Well basically I packed like hell, hung out with family, moved, got set up for school, started making the apt liveable, started working, and started classes. x.X SO, I haven't been on LJ much. *laughs* I'm soooo far behind it isn't even funny and there is no way in hell I'm backreading everything. Hopefully I'll catch any big stuff or important stuff from teh Flist but otherwise, I'm gonna go backread a few fics I know I missed parts in and start from a few pages back of my friendslist and yeah. Ugh, so much stuff to do all at once still too.
I'm killing time before my last class for today at 2:30, so I figured I'd let people know I was alive still. I still have no internet at the apt. as we are having a heck of a time getting the hub to accept anything more than one computer. Stupid thing. >.< We're trying though, so hopefully soonish I'll have net again.
My classes are shaping up to be... interesting so far from the first two today. My Game Development class has an awesome seeming teacher, he's funny, this class was his brainchild and thus his baby, and he has a cool Australian accent that's fun to listen to. XD The class itself sounds like it should be fun too. However, LING 303.... Syntax. Oh gawd, I hope I don't die from that class. Not only does it look to be REALLY confusing with a teacher that's just expecting us to jump in there and get it right off the bat (if the exercises today were any indication) but tons of reading and lots of work. Well, I suppose I should get used to it. Tis my major work and such, but I've heard that Syntax is the hardest class for MOST Linguistics students, so... hmmm, we'll see how I do. A few nice things are I have some friends in that class to work with and do discussion group work with and we evidently do NOT have class on Fridays despite them being scheduled, so that's good. Still waiting to see what LING 402: Old English shall be like. No book or anything, so I have no clue what to expect. Speaking of books, the only class I needed any for was 303 and that was only two, both of which I found used. Quite nice.
The apartment is coming along, slowly but surely, gotta work on more stuff after work tonight (which is shaping up to be the usual pretty much). Along with working on that is spending time with Winry (or Winry-kitty <3 )- the kitty of lovey cuteness and scaring the crap out of people...-ness. LOL. kaitou_marina's journal but, the kitty got OUTSIDE out a window without a screen late the other night. We spent a long time searching for her when we realized what had happened and there was another dumb, but lovey cat trying to play with us that I'm sure would have been keeping her from coming out. THANKFULLY I spotted her walking by after a while and managed to catch her (funnily enough only because the other cat came back yet again and distracted her). Took her inside, nerves shot and shit, and the very next day we went to get her a collar that fit, tags, and few other things so she doesn't keep tearing up the couch. ^^;
Hmmmm, I think that's been life pretty much for the last week or so. I can't wait to have internet again so I can keep up on things and chat and RP. Hopefully that shall be soon. *crosses fingers* Plus, lots of stuff coming up! Like setting up AIYA stuff and visits with teh Far-chan and heading up to Canada to see Kakumei and just whoooooooooa busy.
Oh yes... and my birthday is fast approaching as well. @.@;
