Pleasant surprise in the form of a phone call
So, that was random.
I just got out of the shower and was toweling my hair when my brother called me. Brandon. So I'm like WTF and answer it and he sounded surprised for me to know who it was, which was kinda funny. Evidently he just now got my number, but didn't know I already had his. But he was like "Are you working today?" And I told him I wasn't cause it's my day off and he was like "Oh, well I'm in Bellingham and I remembered you live up here. We're just eating at Boomers."
My reaction: *blink blink* 0.0 *blink* That's a long way to just go get food!
He thought that was funny. I guess he's just up here with a friend and was going to like visit me at work (he thought I was still working at the calendar place though). We talked a little bit more and then I kinda let him go since he was out with a friend and all. But yeah.
That was weird!
And after we said bye, I actually kinda teared up... It's hard to explain but my brother and I haven't been close or anything like it for years and years. He said "love ya" and I just.... It made me feel squeeing and happy.
And had the sudden urge to share it with someone or write it or something because I felt like if I didn't I won't remember this later. So....yeah, there ya go.
