Life Update 2.0 XD;
First off, I just want to say thank you for the all the concerned comments and well-wishes from my last post (which yeah, I realize was a little while ago - I started writing this post the next day, but uhh it didn't get done until now >.>; ). Basically what had happened was that day had gotten off to a very shitty start, but thankfully it didn't really get any worse from there. As for what was wrong? It was a bunch of little things coupled with losing a ring that held a lot of sentimental value to me. I was... really upset (it still feels funny for it to not be on my finger). But even though I worked both jobs that day, nothing else went really wrong after like, noon, so I was okay. But I really appreciate everyone's concern. I loves you all ♥ ♥

sa7chan got married and it was a lovely and fun wedding. Many congratulations to her and her new hubby! And other than the bride I actually knew like, people there! XD In fact, we got to see some of the B'ham peeps and it was awesome. (Finally decided who I'm doing for the cosplay skit too *yay*) After the wedding some of us went to chobits00_freya's boy's house and played a card game for a while. French Revolution made into a card game XD; It was pretty fun. I didn't win any of the games we played, but I didn't do badly either (likely because it was largely luck with a little skill rather than the other way around XD).
Also, I gotkaitou_marina her Valentine's present, though, I couldn't give it to her the day of because, well, I suck at deciding stuff and wanted her to pick her own stuff out. Twas a betta and the initial supplies since I knew she'd been wanting one for like... forever. The fishy she picked out is very cute. ^.^ (There will be a picture later because I got my camera software loaded finally.)
Oh yeah, and belatedly, we finally had Xmas with Canadians and got to see them, which was wonderful. Miss you guys already! ;.; But much talking and chatting and goofing and exchanging and walking was to be had while we were there and it was good. ♥minase_hijiri made us the most awesome things btw >D Pictures can be found posted up here. Aren't they adorable? *squee*
Hmmm, what else has happened since then? Ah, Fe-brew-ary. *grins* That was loads of fun, so thank you tonightsinger and darthparadox for hosting that. There were lots of tasty things to eat and nice teas to drink and much chatting to be had with pretty cool people. ^.^
What else? Oh yes, we held our first anime "club" meeting thing and I think it went pretty well. Everyone was really amused with Code Geass I think and we watched "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time." God, I love that movie. So cute and sad and poignant. ;.; (And Chiakiiiiii ♥ )
I've caught up on Holic (I hadn't read since hmmm the middle of the Kohane arc?). Gotta say, CLAMP, I'm waiting to make any judgement calls until I know what the hell is actually going on. XDD Though, it's both funny and frustrating to listen to bits of the fandom flip out with each new twist or development. Like I said, reserving my judgement until I know what's what. Same for Tsubasa. Which, while I know what is going on currently, I haven't read since they first arrived at the pool in Clow Country, so that's next on the catch up list. At least it isn't as much as I had backlogged of Holic.
Other than that, there hasn't been too much I've been up to besides working. Which is going fine. I'm so grateful that not only do I have a job, but I have two. It can be tiring, sure, but right now, it's definitely a blessing. I'm kind of worried about the job at the university due to the budget cuts that are due to come soon, but I won't dwell on it. There's really nothing I can do but work hard until then.
And now that I've rambled a whole lot, I think I'll end there and either work on Maguri app (which requires finishing my re-read of Shinshi Doumei Cross), clean up various user infos (lord knows, my personal journal needs it >.> ), color a splash page I printed out (yes, like a coloring book, shhh XP), or work on learning the Thriller dance some more. I haven't had a day off in so long, I'm not sure what to do with it XD I guess it'll probably be some combo of the above.
