Tell me about Kuro-rin for the meme. :D

1. Why I decided to play this character

To be perfectly honest? Mari started playing Fay at Memento just as we were getting back into Tsubasa, but there was already a Kurogane there. I was going to play Tsuzuki or I think Roy instead at the time, but then the Kurogane suddenly dropped out and I snapped him up so fast that there wasn't even a "disappearance" period. XD; I thought I could do it at least as well as they had thus far and wanted to give him a try (and play with Mari's Fay). I was already playing Kurogane in a private RP, but I felt I was still pretty shaky with him, but I'm so glad I didn't let that stop me from playing him at ME. It's strengthened my understanding and love of his character so much, I can't even tell you XD Kurogane's become my favorite character of pretty much any series right now. I just hope I do him justice.

2. My favorite scene or bit of interaction concerning this character to date

That's hard! I think I have to go with the love-spring incident and its resolution. Especially because it wasn't just all silly goofiness and "true love's kiss-happy ending"

3. My favorite aspect about this character

His observation abilities while looking like the big dumb brute XD I mean, how many characters can say they found and pointed out the giant logic-plot-hole in their series? Kuro can XD

4. The last thing they did "off screen"

~~Fay?~~ Probably went to work as usual, taking care of his own horses and helping take care of Sora's again as well. And he's working out internally how he's going to train Colette.

5. What their last words would be if they died tomorrow

In Memento? That he'd be paying them back the favor. Otherwise, I don't really see him... saying anything. I think he's more the type to just... fight until the very last breath and then die.

6. What the next thing I'm doing for them is (narrative, post, shelving, whatever)

God, I need to post with him! Reaction to the ceremony and I need to check if he has enough % for a memory regain. It'd be nice to get him the rest of the memories of the acid!Tokyo arc.

Kurogane and Jr. need to talk again/more! Kuro should find that water sitting around and what with the rash of disappearances he can remember that he wants to get rid of said water!

Ashura!

1. Why I decided to play this character

Aha, I originally was going to play this character at my other RP because his memory regains would be all kinds of dramatic, but then I found writing out his background was more work than I was willing to put in and it's possible I'll have a similar character in the future, so he got shelved for the time being. Then QV rolled out and I was like "Okay okay, I know I want to play, but as who?!" and Mari was going to play Horitsuba!Fay, but I didn't want to play Horitsuba!Kuro (he's kind of boring in comparison) and then was like.... wait a second.......! As for why I ever wanted to play Ashura in the first place? He's adorable! Omg, how could someone not love him? Plus, he's gone through so much in his canon and had this uber tragic story! And that scary other side lurking under the surface is something I thought was intriguing even if I'm hoping it won't ruin his happy-fun-school-days at QV now XD;;;

2. My favorite scene or bit of interaction concerning this character to date

Totally his meeting Yoshimori and becoming like insta-friends over fudge and cookies. I also have just really enjoyed all the interactions with Yoshimori (he's really fabulous to play off of) and Ashura's been cute to play as Fay's little brother too. ♥ But I am rather fond of a piece of museboxing he did once with a friend of mine playing Lloyd from Code Geass and omg, they were talking about Lloyd's glasses and Ashura was just like "are they magic?!" and Lloyd would give this very scientific explanation of optics and Ashura was all @~@;; That pretty fun too.

3. My favorite aspect about this character

The duality. He carries this enormous sense of guilt around at his own existence and worries about the safety of the people around him and yet he has this almost naive hope and faith in things and people. He can be cute and loving, but at the same time there is a god of war residing in him. At QV it's rather similar, which is why I set his backstory up like I did. So I could maintain that about him.

4. The last thing they did "off screen"

Spent the night at Fay's apartment in the teacher housing because he's lonely in his dorm room by himself. XD;; Oh yes and is floundering in his piles of homework that he's not used to. ^^;

5. What their last words would be if they died tomorrow

More than likely "I'm sorry."

6. What the next thing I'm doing for them is (narrative, post, shelving, whatever)

Ahaha, another character I desperately need to post for. He needs to post to talk about drowning in homework and that he should be spending more time in his room than he has been to get used to it and his new fish he got from the matsuri!

You know I love Ashura and Yoshimori interacting, of course, but I'd like to play him off Ai some more too because she's really cute and he's rather nice and mostly harmless so I don't think he'd scare her too badly. XD

Outside QV? If I do end up applying at ghost*sugar, I'd love to play Maurice (the guy from the log with Iolanthe) off your vampire boy >D

And of course, Ai would be fun to play with Ashura. They can go shopping. She will be his jittery bff sempai :D I am sure Ashura does not scare her in the least.

WE SHOULD DO SOME MORE. Though I think I'll actually make a post with him somewhere. Assuming the different setting without having written out the background to match it requires more thinking for responses than Maurice normally needs XD
