Mixed bag to be sure

Wow, it's been a mixed last bit of time, I'm not even sure where to begin.

Well, let's do the good news, per se, first XD

-Birthday: Zomg, thank you for all the well-wishes and happy birthdays everyone! I had a good time despite Murphy's Law trying to fix it otherwise ^^; (see below for explanation). Not only did I get to see Wicked, but I got a lot of awesome gifts too and I'm so terribly spoiled, god. I love my family. And iii, I'm excited, I'm gonna get a little froggy from kaitou_marina ♥ I'll have to figure out what to name it after we get it never mind that we still haven't named the fish-that-lived despite two tank mates dying almost right away each time ;.;

-Related to my birthday, but not it: Omg, I finally saw my dad. To put this in perspective, I used to see my dad every Sunday as a kid, but you know it didn't work like that when I went to school, so after that I would only really see him on the big holidays and the occasional random visit. After college it dropped to just some holidays and last year? That didn't even happen because of the freak snow of doom in WA. So I haven't seen my father in well over a year and keeping in touch with that man is HARD. So I'm really happy I got to see him finally. I'd been worrying about him lately from the few times I'd heard from him. (He kind of freaked me out with his freaking out about 2012 of all things ^^;; But he seems a bit better now. Thank goodness.)

-Shrine: Shrine visit this last Sunday, lots of people were dragged with us this time. Heheh. My sister came with us again and we picked up seleraleonhart the night before and she came and secretlymoe decided to come too! So Ginryuu was a very full car on the way to the shrine. It was a really beautiful (if not kind of chilly) day too, so it was really nice to be out there. And since it was the Fall Thanksgiving ceremony, they had musical performances for the kami and stuff right? Usually it's just a koto player, which is really nice, I love listening to them, but we got treated this time. There was a koto player, a biwa player and a Japanese flute (not a shakuhachi though) player. They were all really amazing to listen to. I'm glad we got to enjoy it too. And on a similar note I have so many pictures taken of that shrine that I've never posted, I should like upload them sometime, huh? XD; (Along with whole ton of other pictures too @.@;)

-Games: Duuude, due to my birthday AND sales at GameStop I have several new games ♥ Started on Eternal Sonata after we got back from dropping people off after the ceremony. Games should NOT be that damn pretty *.* Holy cow, seriously. I am sad that I found out the PS3 ver. that got released has two extra characters and a longer story with a different end though XP Also got KH: Chain of Memories finally and also got the new KH game for the DS. Can't wait to start on those too. Though, I must not get consumed by new videogames, I have a lot of other stuff to do (like RP and cleaning and decorating for Halloweeeeeeen ♥)

-Job Security: So I've been working Fulltime hours at my position for about 3 months now and instead of only extending that for another 3 months they just decided to do a whole 6 months for now at fulltime. And by that time (or sooner if they reach a decision) it may even become a permanent thing. Yaaay! Fulltime is much needed. I really don't want to go back to two jobs - that kind of sucked. ^^;

-RP: Trying to keep up with all the characters around the insanity of work and being rather social lately. It's been interesting XD; Still behind on tags and I have to post with people, omg. *coughKUROGANEANDASHURAcough* But overall, I'm really enjoying stuff. QV is already starting to grow a bit again too, which is kind of exciting. And there is a whole slew of FMA players joining at the same time that shiruru convinced me to app Roy there >.> A little worried because I've never played him in public before, so uhhh, this should be interesting XD At least I know the Al already (♥ to Cara!) so that is very nice.

The bad stuff XP

-Being LOST and late: I am both of these things frequently, but I would have much rather chosen different times for it to happen this time. We were late to Wicked due to several bouts of getting lost and for the first time my shiny shiny G1 failed me in giving directions and well, MY directional sense sucks, so we were driving around in this upset, frustrated panic in downtown Seattle to find the stupid Paramount before finally we were like screw it and just found the handy-dandy convention center instead and walked across the damn street. IT was so retarded though and I blame Seattle streets for it entirely. (And maybe Google Maps just a little too.) I was so upset when we got there, but we didn't miss much of it, just about 15 minutes maybe, and things looked up after that. I enjoyed the show and calmed down and afterward we all grabbed some food at the Cheesecake Factory and I got to take home a piece of nummy Raspberry Lemon Cream Cheesecake. And then, oh god, and then, the very next day I slept past when I was already supposed to be at work! And it was like the second day of the freaking quarter which means it was INSANELY busy. x.x Late karma, are we done now, I hope? ;.; (At least I wasn't in any trouble or anything and no one was upset with me but me and kaitou_marina got up early and everything to drive me when I woke up and was like in a mini-panic. ♥ her.)

-Falling Outs: Yeah, it's fairly obvious these things can suck ass. *sighs* I wish things didn't have to happen like they did, which everyone will have either heard about from the other two people involved by now, so I'm not going into specifics. Really it was between the other two people and I'm just on the side really, but I don't think I can be friends with that person anymore either. I can be civil sure, but I don't think I could consider them a friend anymore, if nothing else for hurting someone I love so badly. But I still wish it hadn't had to go that way. I don't know, I'm kind of weirded out by how I feel about the whole thing. Like I feel like I should be more upset than I am, but I am upset in a far more subtle way... it's very strange and leaves me somewhat unsettled in general. Anyway, I hope I don't have to lose friends anymore over who I love, it seems a stupid reason to lose people in general. It made me smile to see the comments left about this to kaitou_marina though. I love all you guys. (And for the record, I don't think anyone was a villain here, I just think it fell apart badly because trust became an issue - understandably so.)

-AUT 09: XD Beginning of Fall quarter for UWB (was on my birthday btw XP) and I hadn't worked a Fall Quarter yet. It was kind of insane leading up to and those first two days were just really long XD;; It's hard to get any one task done before another five crop up that need to be done first and gaaaaaaaaaaaah. Hopefully things settle a little soon. @_@

-Getting Sick: ... I think I may be. Ugh. This one is self-explanatory, right?


And some mixed emotions for good measure XD;

-Tsubasa: TT_____________TT It's oveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer! I'm going to miss that stupid series so much, damnit. And I won't spoil or go into detail or anything, but I liked the ending overall. I think I'm going to do another more thorough post about it later though, because man, it deserves that much from me. I don't want it to be done and I love it, but it's over and I'm pleased with how it went. So many worse things could have happened or bad twists could have been taken, seriously.

Now I just gotta see where Holic goes, gah, so curious! More hot-hot-hot Doumeki plz? And I think I should start back on Kobato now too! The anime first ep came out too and we watched it and so cute so cute toooooo cute! Seriously! I can't wait to see more! Kohakuuuu~ ♥

-NaNoWriMo: Is coming up this year again and I want to do it and am kinda excited, BUT I just know I don't have the discipline to keep up with it already ^.^;;;;; and I'm not entirely sure what I want to do either. I'm thinking of doing a fanfic idea I've been kicking around, but I'm not sure. Guess I'll keep thinking on that.

And ummm I think that's everything!

Oh yeah! I did the first section of that art meme, it's been done a few days actually, but I haven't started on the multiples section, so that's next... I wonder if I should just scan the first part though and post it in the meantime. Hmmmm....

We should talk about that latter, because I really want to decorate for Halloween too! Or at least for 'harvest'/thanksgiving/fall season generally. But I don't really know where to begin and I'd rather have you guys' input before I do anything drastic to the living room, so collaboration would be nice.

-NaNoWriMo: Is coming up this year again and I want to do it and am kinda excited

I am actually considering doing it this year with a Tsubasa fic idea that's been crystallizing, but we'll see, I haven't had good luck with NNWM in the past either. :(

Ahaha, yay! I have a uhhh ton of Halloween decorations too. I should haul them upstairs tonight and clean off that back table to start on that whole cleaning thing so there is ROOM for decorations (and just living in general) >.>

And that's kinda funny, because the idea I'm thinking of is also a Tsubasa fic. Go figure XD;
