So, the people I'm 'working' for are IDIOTS

Complete and utter idiots.

They have NO idea what is going on.

I was supposed to start last week. That is what I was told before. Then they said they couldn't have training then because the woman who does hiring was gone and she helps with that. (Before she said she KNEW she was going to be gone and they COULD do it without her, but I let it go.) The store manager herself told me that one. That they would DEFINITELY have a training session this week. Call on Monday to find out when.

So I call.

Guess what.

They have no fucking clue.

The vacation woman is back and tells me this:

"Oh we don't know when it is, it isn't scheduled. Try back mid-next month."

I was like the the freakin hell?! So I asked her what and if she was kidding. I literally did.

She said because I was seasonal they didn't know when that training session would be.

Now is it just me or shouldn't SEASONAL workers who LEAVE soon be started ASAP? Honestly!

I then proceeded to tell her that is NOT what I was told before. And she asked who I talked to and I replied "The store -manager-" and she said "Oh." Like that made a difference. It SHOULD make a freakin difference.

So then she says she'll talk to her and call me back. And I ask "When? Today?"

"Well, I'm in the middle of a project and she is in a meeting with the other managers..."

And I just told her I'd call back later today and find out then.

KILLLLLLL! DUMBSHITS!

What the hell?

I was supposed to be working last week - I need this money for SCHOOL. I don't get to spend it how I want, this isn't for fun or extra cash. It is to help pay for SCHOOL.

Oh, and get this. If I get the same stupid thing, my mom doesn't care HOW it looks, she wants to speak to them cause she is pissed and at that point? I don't care. They should have to talk to her.

I'm getting really annoyed. I was so patient at the beginning of it too, totally accommodating, but I need to start working and since I was told I HAD a job, I stopped LOOKING for other ones. >.<

GRRRRRRRRR KILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL! TEAR IT TO PIECES!

And if anyone wants to listen I have another rant:

Why are jobs so hard to find? Because STUPID people are allowed to KEEP theirs for some reason. I don't understand it. They POUND it into your head that the customer comes first, right? So how come people don't get fired or have action taken against them when they are rude to a customer? When people complain about them more than just once? More than a fluke or a customer having a bad day?

I don't GET it.

I keep hearing about all these complete morons who have jobs, when I have friends, online and off, who can't get jobs and want/need them and sound MORE than competent to do good work.

What. The. Hell?

Why is that? If someone isn't doing their job, why do they deserve to keep it?

Or at least get away with it with nothing getting done about it? Sure, if they can't do it - then help them first. Give them training, explain it better/in a different way. But if they just plain aren't doing it or suck at it despite warnings and help then DROP them and get someone better for the job!
