Wow, I'm updating a LOT today

Sorry if I'm going overboard folks, but figure it makes up for when I dont' do it for like weeks at a time. ^.~

Anyway, does ANYONE know why AIM would suddenly start kicking me every 10-20 minutes or so very a tiny amount of time and not even tell me it did? Because it is getting REALLY annoying. People send me messages I don't see cause I'm kicked and I never know and then they think I haven't seen them and... grrrrr... It is stupid and frustrating.

It only started once we got on our cable modem too...

>.<

I hope it isn't that. Cause that would be stupid and I don't know WHY still.

Any ideas?

Cable Modem Problems

I've had problems with my cable modem too. It would sometimes shut off for certain times of the day. Call your cable company and make sure that your area can support your cable modem. It wasn't until after that Comcast said that we weren't suppose to be allowed to have a cable modem because the apartment complex' cables needed renovation in order to properly support high-speed internet access.

Wouldn't they tell you that in the -first- place though? When you sign up?

0.o One would hope so, anyway.

Thank you for the advice though! I'm gonna see if it keeps doing it consistently and then maybe see someone about it.

(I'm right now hoping it is a problem with AIM because it doesn't seem to be affecting other Internet things when it seems to affect AIM. Besides one time when it -was- disconnected, when our computer just needed to reset its modem/connection, it hasn't seemed to have any overall internet problems yet.)
