Adviceage?
So, I have my tablet set up at school now... And wow... I'm having a -hard- time using this sucker ^^;;;
Any advice out there from those who have one?
*hopes she isn't -too- adjusted to the mouse to ever use new, shiny tablet well* ;.;

Practice so very much. Holding a pen made me want to look down. I mean, it's a pen and it's natural to want to look at what you're doing. So sort of lean back and have the tablet and computer screen in view. After a while, you start to trust you hand and you can keep it in your lap or something. The first month I had mine? I could not stop looking down >>;
But I got used to it by making myself doodle something at least two or three times a week. Just do small doodles, write, even slid in a sketch and trace it into a graphic program. You'll look down, but if you trace the basic outline and then look at the computer screen to put in colour or details, it should be fine.
It's not easy in the beginning but it'll grow on you so you never have to use the mouse again :3 Anyway, I hope you enjoy your shiny new tool n_n
