Can't SAVE properly >.

Okay, yeah, I'm asking for help again, but this is driving me NUTS! >.< *glares at computer*

My computer does this thing at seemingly (to me anyway) totally random intervals where it decides every image I try to save is by default 'untitled.bmp' and won't let me save the file as it actually is. >.< It's really annoying and kinda space consuming if I don't go and convert the images in another program right away. Any clue why the hell it would start doing that or how to fix it?

Cause as far as I can remember I never do anything different to make it start doing that or anything to FIX it either and it'll just suddenly stop doing it and go back to normal for a while before doing it again.

Anybody? Ideas, help?

And I'm already pretty sure it isn't a virus because I've run scans on my computer many times during and since the first time this happened. Same for Adware. *sighs*

^^; This happens to me sometimes Keioh-san, and what I usually do is clean the temporary internet files out and the problem is fixed. ^^

I just type in a different file name when it wants to save my pic as untitled.bmp. Silly Al.

^^;; problem is that's a pain in the ass and pictures that SHOULD be jpgs or gifs only save as bmps. It also means that I can't save animated gifs at -all- because it only saves the one frame ^^;

hello, yes... umm... I have the same problem(dang you Bitmap!) and lately I found a way around it, but I haven't tried it on normal pictures just icons, but anyways... when you right click an image, go to email picture, A "Send Mail" pop-up will show up, there should be a small image of your picture and two options 'make images smaller' or 'keep images original size' click the bubble for original size and click okay.

Now, when the email pops up, go to File, go to save attachments... and if you want it in a specific folder, click on Browe, then once you have it to the destination of your liking, click save. And voila X3~

Atleast it works with me ^^- It is a lot to do at first, but once I got the hang of it, I do it pretty fast.
