*WHEW* The new year...
Wow, was I ever a busy bee for the last .... 0.o few weeks.
Christmas was awesome. Thank you so much to everyone for well wishes and cards and omg presents o.o, I hope you all had a great one too. I did kinda.... not get something done that I NEEDED to before Christmas but... *shrugs* They'll just be late or "Winter" cards or something, right? XD; I'm sure people will understand. >.>;
Got lots of stuff for the apartment whether it was practical or to make things look pretty - both were very much appreciated. People also liked the gifts I got them, which was a huge relief. I'm a spaz about such things, worrying my head off until they're given. ^^; Then there was a lovely, cute, fun wedding that I went to so that was cool. Then there was the New Year's party which was FABULOUS per usual.
Everyone looked so pretty (twas a 'formal' this year) and the games were fun and the food was delicious. Seeing everyone was so great too. T.T Kari was greatly missed however. I hope she's at least enjoying Hawaii a little. You were missed, Kari! *hugs* Then Liz and Amber were teh most awesome and took us to Super Store to get cheap holiday stuff for next year and some other home decor. Got lots of stuff for not too much monies. It was great.
Sadly though we had to go home the next day because I had work. *rolls eyes* A whopping like 350+ people came in for dinner. It was so. slow. We were done with clean up by 7 (as opposed to the normal 7:30).
Next day was great too. 'Ina's birthday! *laughs* She seemed to really enjoy getting to just relax and stuff during the day. We did go buy our school books though, but other than that, we just kinda hung out and did DDR, made a nummy "Japanese" lunch sort of using the new rice cooker <3 We went out to dinner and then had mini-gift opening for Christmas thing with Jesse. Then we watched so much Sailor Moon R in one sitting (with wine and rich chocolate mousse) that my brain is like @.@ LOL
But she seemed to really like it, and we're going to do something on Sunday too, so yay. ^___^
As for LJ? Well, I'm going to back read maybe.... a little. ^^; But that's it. I've heard everyone's been busy anyway, so nothing too big happened. As for the one really big thing that did, well I'm going to offer my hugs and support to that person if I see them online or e-mail them. *glares daggers at spiteful asses*
However, one my New Year's resolutions this year is to update this sucker at least once a week. At LEAST. So *nods* I shall be trying to do that. ^.^ Glad to be home and now I have time to be online again - so it shant be too hard.
Ugh, now I'm off to my first class of the quarter. Not that I can remember which of my two Liberal Studies classes it is XD;;;
